Under the leadership of Head Varsity Coach Gabrielle Hood, the Franklin Girls Basketball program has seen strong development both on and off the court. Coach Hood emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and leadership, and the funds raised through the Cager Classic will go toward vital needs such as uniforms, equipment, travel expenses, and tournament fees—resources that help elevate the student-athlete experience.

The tournament is proudly organized in partnership with the Franklin Cager Crew booster club, with President Terri Overland and Vice President Sandy Brewer playing key roles in coordinating the event and rallying community support.
